Little nightmares 2 multiplayer
The game looked great in its short showing, but today, publisher Bandai Namco dropped a new 15-minute trailer. However, when you set up a game like this and give it two characters on the same screen, there really is no reason not to make it a two-player experience, even if it is just local multiplayer. Little Nightmares 2 popped up at Gamescom Opening Night Live. This is currently just speculation and it is possible that Six will be purely AI based while the player controls Mono only. They do show a brief moment of fighting in the trailer, but it seems solving puzzles and stealth motions are going to be the main factors to surviving this strange environment.

He is partnered up with our yellow-raincoat-wearing friend Six and they are trying to uncover the grim secrets of the world whilst fleeing from the monstrous residents out to capture them.īandai Namco has even stated in relation to the two characters, “The relationship between the two children will play a huge role within the game’s story and unveil new gameplay mechanics as the children must work together to traverse through the world.” If this isn’t enough to say that 2-player gameplay is coming, then this title will be full of other new mechanics. Little Nightmares 2 brings a new story to what is becoming quite a popular franchise, as the sequel is getting nearly as much love as the original Little. This new character is named Mono, a young boy trapped in a world distorted by the humming transmission of a distant Signal Tower.
The announcement trailer for Little Nightmares II shows us playing as a new character.
Both of these adventures were single-player only. Then we got some DLC that let us play as a second child nicknamed The Runaway Kid. While the changes it makes to the series’ established formula, such as the dual protagonist story and the addition of combat, are a bit hit or miss, I still found it nearly impossible to put the game down during my six-hour playthrough thanks to its satisfying puzzles and unrivaled atmosphere. In the original Little Nightmares title we played as Six, a little alone child that had to make their way through a strange environment. Little Nightmares II is an excellent follow-up to an already terrific game. While many of you may already be aware that Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco have announced that they will be extending the Little Nightmares franchise with another game thanks to our recent upcoming game sequels article, I thought it was worth diving into a little further.
